​Product information – Beech sawdust

Raw material/wood type: 100% pure beech, without glue, chemicals, bark, etc. Unlike fir or pine wood, does not contain resin

​Water percent: Approx. 8%

​Absorbency: Beech has the highest absorbency of all wood types, and is almost double that of fir or pine.

Economics:

• Beech sawdust is economic due to its high absorbency.​

Efficiency:

• Due to its high absorbency, it is used in smaller quantities.

Environmental:

• Beech sawdust is heat treated and is almost sterile.

Analyses:

• The Department of Foodstuffs run analyses to check for germs, yeast and moulds.

Salmonella free:

• All of the analyses conducted by the Department of Foodstuffs have shown ”Salmonella not detected”.

The scope of application is endless and include:

• Swine: Bedding for young pigs
• Stalls: Bedding in stalls, passages and driving areas, etc.
• Slaughter houses: Bedding in delivery areas, etc.
• Animal transport: Bedding for trailer floors, etc.
• Accident/liquids: Quickly absorbs all liquids, after which it can be removed in an environmentally correct way.

• Delivered in 22 kg sacks and big bags
• Delivered on disposable pallets

• Swine Ground – sorted – dust rinsed – sacked – palletised
• ​High quality, uniform product, without splinters. Sorted composition of corn sizes, an almost dust free product that ensures an optimal working environment.
• Delivered in 22 kg sacks and bigbags
• Delivered on disposable pallets
• Delivered as full pallets only, containing 30/36 sacks or 1 bigbag per pallet.
